How can we help?
Short answers for setting up Lapse and reading your report. Can't find it? Email us.
Getting started
- Connect Meta, and what view-only access meansLapse needs to see your live ads to check them against your licenses. You give it that by connecting Meta once and picking the ad accounts to check.
- Add a creator licenseA license in Lapse is one deal with one creator: which content you may run, where, and until when. Lapse checks every live ad against these.
- Import licenses from a CSVIf your deals already live in a spreadsheet, import them in one go. Download the template, paste your rows in, and preview before anything is saved.
How checks work
- How Lapse matches ads to licensesOn every check, Lapse looks at each live ad, works out which license it belongs to, and then checks that license's dates, status and channels.
- What each finding meansAfter each check, every live ad lands in one of 4 tabs on the dashboard. Each ad also shows a plain sentence saying why.
- Alert emailsLapse emails everyone in your organization when a check finds something new. It won't send the same alert twice: you get a new one only when something changes, like a new problem on an ad or the next alert day.
- Auto-pause and undoOut of the box, Lapse only tells you which ads to pause. Auto-pause lets it pause them for you. It's off until you turn it on.
Your account
- Agencies and clientsAn organization in Lapse can hold several clients. A brand usually has one. An agency has one per brand it runs ads for.
- Billing and plansLapse is billed monthly by card through Stripe. You can track licenses for free; live ad checks need a paid plan.
- Delete your dataYou can delete everything Lapse holds about your organization at any time, right away.
